Thanksgiving
I would like to know what the plan is for Thanksgiving. How many of you (and the old people) are going to New York City, how long are you staying, and where are you staying? I have one room reserved at a Westin in Times Square (Thurs-Sunday) which is all I could get with Hamdi's discount. I'm not sure if we are coming though since we are going to DC in a few weeks and I have to go to Nashville the week before Thanksgiving for a conference. Let me know what your plans are...

That's who I know is coming. I will be in Brooklyn on Nov.17th until the Sat. after Thanksgiving because I have to be there for work on the on the 18th then I'm just staying. Everyone else will be there Wens. through Sat. If you are not going to use your room let us know and if it's ok we could use it.(I think you talked to my mom about that already?)So that's the plans as I know it! What are you going to DC for?

we are just going to DC for fun--a long weekend. Hamdi hasn't been there and I wanted to show him some of my old haunts and see some old friends.

At lunch on Saturday, Grandma mentioned all the girls/women/females going to NYC...And then there's Billy.
Grandpa (chuckling with a sly smile): "That boy doesn't stand a chance."
We may go to Ohio, depending on Anders. Chinese buffet with the Captain and Grandpa!

Jdollar- Billy's used to being with the gals...he grew up with his mom and a sister, and then married into my fam! I bet Grandpa is counting the days until Thanksgiving if he gets to go to the chinese buffet...one day he implied he liked it better than grandma's cooking!

Hamdy just told me that he definitely has to work on Thanksgiving, so I guess that means we are not going. I will probably join whatever feasts are happening in Michigan or Ohio. It would be fun to see Anders since I didn't get to see him at Liz's wedding. I can change the name of the hotel reservation we have. I will just need to send whoever takes the room a letter from Sheraton stating that they are eligible for the employee discount. (technically it is only for parents and siblings, but they don't ask and if they do, LIE) The room is reserved from Nov 23-Nov 26 (there was no availability the night of the 22nd) at the Westin New York in Times Square. We have two weddings to go to in the next few months, which has sucked up the extra plane tickets we were planning to use to go to NYC for Tgiving. So SnoopDoug's mom and brothers may be coming here for Thanksgiving.
We did, however, learn a new card game last night that we will be bringing to Cousin Council Christmas (with hilarious results).
