I was wondering if you could hook us up with some Google Analytics action. If you sign up, and post the provided HTML code on the page, it will give you info on statistics, when, how many times people visit, etc.

Or, if you want me to do it, just let me know and I'll send you the code to post on the page.

I first got interested in this when I bumped into someone--not a family member--at B&N. We exchanged greetings; then, before she left, she mentioned that she always reads the cousin council blog!

How many of you already have google email accounts? I'm getting pestered by blogger to switch to the new google system (which, like all new things boasts itself to be bigger and better). The only problem is, I think it may make you all get google accounts in order to keep blogging.

a thought-provoking film

Have any of you seen the documentary "Why we Fight" by Eugene Jarecki? It is somewhat like Farenheit 9/11, but much better in my opinion--it presents questions to its audience rather than just telling or ridiculing. It considers why we got into Iraq and contemplates Eisenhower's farewell address and his warning of the rise of the "military-industrial complex"
Check it out if you have a chance and tell me what you think of it... I would be particularly interested in doug and andrew's opinion of it.
