please note

As the premier medium to channel news and bloody lies about our kin, the cce-m blog is hand's down the most important tool we have in staying connected. I thought I would use it to mention that regular posts are now appearing over on the For What It's Worthless blog, created by DMANDMAN.

Happy Birfday to Rachey Rach Using Dictionary.com's Words of the Day

Cousins, would it be ostensible to suggest that our dear cousin Rachey Rach has a birthday today? The facts militate the truth. How simply vertiginous to think that 27 years ago, our dear Rachey Rach came into the world!

Quotes from the couch...Miss Laurie Green

Last night Sept 25th 2006, Danara's roommate made the following come back when I mentioned that Wyclef is gonna have a new cd.

Laurie says:
"Your Mom's got a new CD"(30 second pause) "It's called Diana Rocks the 80's."

I'm living with a comedic genius.

wait wait wait....

Okay cousins.

New business
I got to sing Tony Bennett Happy B-Day today. Working at a label ain't all that bad I guess.

Old and VERY IMPORTANT business

Noted is the Melungeon version of "The Land Before TIme". Also noted is Grandpa sleeping through the Southern Baptist sermons, not to mention pretending to sleep (or read) through all family functions. But cousins..cousins..we still have yet to address Wilburforce? It is easy to ignore and simply carry on, but there is still confusion? Can someone please verify that Wilburforce is in fact SailorBoy? We have been kissing cousins for decades, and blogging cousins for a year...and all of the sudden Sailorboy/Wilburforce appears. And maybe it's just shock. Maybe it's that I can't believe after all this time he's joined us. Shouldn't we be toasting peach schnapps and singing 'those were the days shaunene?' This is quite a big deal in the cousin blogosphere! Right???? Mr. Sea Pants is getting his blog on!

I motion that when Wilburforce has his sea legs, he may be referred to as Wilburforce, but when he is in his submarine he must be referred to as nothing but Sailorboy? I really feel that this could deter any further confusion, as you know how the lines of blogging and telegrams do overlap in the Hillman family.

Please advise CC members.

The things you non-Michiganders miss out on...

a 3 hour video of Uncle Pike, Dmandman, and J$ trekking through cemetaries and talking to busty and book hording appalachian locals. Ambrose kept saying that he wanted to watch "The Land Before Time" and we kept assuring him that this WAS the land before time!

Quote from the streets(s.r. 739) that can't be beat

Granndpa H-"there's nothing wong with Southern Baptist...I slept through alot of southern Baptist sermons."

WW VIII

I'd thought I would take a minute to explain what happened to TPCIV. He was skiing while intoxicated, and playing a game which is a cross between downhill skiing and football when a sniper shot the pilot of a nearby helicopter and the helicopter landed on him. It came as shock to all of his friends here in the Sierra Club and I don't think anyone will be able to take his place as such an incredible benefactor to the various philanthropic organizations to which he gave so generously, for instance, the Protective Organization Of Penguins, Forging Alliances for Renegade Teenagers or Jerry Springer's Kids. However, I Winston C. Wilburforce VIII, having learned so much from the man(?) Thomas P Cromwell IV, consider it my personal obligation to fulfill his role in this world. What's everybody doing for Christmas?

A very diverting website

For the intellectual time-waster in all of us: http://www.mcsweeneys.net/links/lists/

A few of my favorite lists:
For the Coming Post-Chocolate-Milk Paradigm: Other Drinks That Can Be Made by Just Adding Chocolate Syrup
Small Businesses Poorly Named After Classic Literature
Alternatives, Should You Not Like Pina Coladas and Getting Caught in the Rain
Reasons Not to Fear the Reaper
Other Names Sting Could Go By, As Suggested by My Thesaurus
Geometric Relationships More Realistic Than the Love Triangle

Really, I think the subjects are as ingenious as the lists themselves...

Thomas P. Cromwell IV.

Is it truly you? Surely, those cryptic references and witty banter suggest it.

Call it Courage: can you take care of the administrative duties (adding TPCIV as a contributor, etc.)?

Unless, anyone had doubts that this is TPCIV???? If need be, we could devise a simple quiz to prove his identity (with questions like, Whose bun weighs a ton?)

Good News!

Billy got a new job as the inhouse graphic designer for our church. It actually pays better than kittles and has amazing benefits! We are really excited about it! He starts in a few weeks. In other news we have become interim parents to a 2 year old girl for a little while! It's a long story, but it's Monaco's brother's baby. If you want to know more I'll have to do it over email, or message you on myspace. She's been really good, but don't worry it doesn't mean we're gonna get catch baby fever....Danara's worried she's gonna lose her room!

Sarapatra-I keep checking Hamdy's blog for pics of the kittens!

Thanksgiving

I would like to know what the plan is for Thanksgiving. How many of you (and the old people) are going to New York City, how long are you staying, and where are you staying? I have one room reserved at a Westin in Times Square (Thurs-Sunday) which is all I could get with Hamdi's discount. I'm not sure if we are coming though since we are going to DC in a few weeks and I have to go to Nashville the week before Thanksgiving for a conference. Let me know what your plans are...

looking for comedy in the muslim world.

So Billy and I just watched Looking for Comedy in the Muslim World...in a reveiw it says it is slyly hilarious; I would say i would agree with that. Any other cousins seen this one, curious on thoughts. If you haven't watched it, we say it's worth a looksy. On a side note, just now on t.v. a commercial for the news came on and the newscaster said "Carwash hit up by transvestite theives". Police are on the look out for two transvestites who head up a ring of car theives."-Just an FYI.
